Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Moonlit Stories (the "Service"), operated by Information Labs. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. Accounts are for parents and legal guardians. Children may listen via kid profiles set up by an adult.

2. Account & security

You are responsible for the activity on your account, including any family members you invite. Keep your sign-in credentials secure. Notify us immediately at hello@informationlabs.io if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable use

• Use the Service only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
• Do not upload content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or harmful to minors.
• Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person.

4. AI-generated content

Stories and audio are generated with AI models. While we use careful prompts and moderation filters geared toward bedtime content for children, AI output can occasionally be unexpected. We do not guarantee that every output is factually accurate or perfectly suited to every listener. Parents should review content as needed.

5. Subscriptions, credits & refunds

The Service includes a free monthly listening quota. Additional listening minutes can be purchased as credit top-ups. See our Payments page for current pricing, refund eligibility, and billing details. All sales are processed in test mode until live payments are activated; you will be clearly notified before any real charge.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, branding, voice models, and curated content, is owned by Information Labs or its licensors. AI-generated stories created for your account are provided to you for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You may not redistribute, resell, or publish the audio commercially.

7. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from the Account screen. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required by law.

8. Disclaimer & liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Information Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the registered office of Information Labs, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts at that location.
